STUDY WORK HISTORY

In   1990, graduated from Fujian Agricultural College;

In   2010, he received his Ph.D. from Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University,   China;

In   1990, he joined the Fujian Agricultural College Sugarcane Comprehensive   Research Institute;

In   2008, He became a professor at the Sugarcane Research Institute of Fujian   Agricultural and Forestry University;

In   2022, he became a Deputy Director of the National Sugarcane Engineering   Technology Research Center of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University

Sugarcane   Breeding

RESEARCH INTEREST:

Genetic   breeding of sugarcane, molecular biology, germplasm resources, and   cytogenetics.

RESEARCH HIGHLIGHT

Deng   lab's research is mainly dedicated to sugarcane genetic breeding, utilizing   techniques such as GISH, FISH, and Oligo-FISH to study germplasm resources,   chromosome inheritance and mechanisms in germplasm hybridization, studying   the relationship between important sugarcane traits and chromosomes, and   developing molecular markers.
